Our Volunteers: The Heart of Funshine
None of this would be possible without the compassionate and tireless work of our volunteers. Each year, we are blessed with dozens of incredible individuals who give their time, energy, and love to make Funshine Camp a success.
We are deeply grateful for the safety of our events, and the local Fire Departments, EMS, and Rescue Personnel, who lend their presence and support in countless ways. Micaville Elementary School, among many others, has also played an important role in helping create a safe and nurturing environment for our campers.
From setting up and serving food to leading activities, cleaning up, entertaining, and offering companionship, our volunteers embody the spirit of selfless service.
Volunteers will work with staff and campers in many areas such as:
Serving meals and snacks
Assisting with crafts
Supervising games
Transitioning from one activity to another
End of day clean up
Helping with other activities as needed
Volunteers are also needed before camp to set up and after to take down.
